In most cases we can provide a estimate for external damage when a customer emails or text us pictures. This saves time and travel for our customers. To obtain a written estimate if you choose to have the repair. I can email you with a complete break down of repair and cost for your records.

Pictures

When providing pictures we need to see the entire panel or panels that have damage not just an isolated close up picture.

Info

We need the year, make model, and color/ color code if possible so we can vison your vehicle. The is also helpful in assisting in repair estimates and ordering of parts. If parts are needed we will need the vin number. The vin will also provide us with the color code and assist in price quotes for parts.

Bumpers

Pleas stand back 2-4 feet when taking the picture. If the damage is the bumper it is help if we have 1-3 pictures. One picture of the complete bumper end to end. This will show the bumper from head light to head light or tail light to tail light top and bottom included.

Also side pictures even if there is no damage. This helps us on the best and more affordable way to complete the repair to save you money. This tells us if you have to do a complete paint refinish or partial. This is the same for doors

Panels

Pleas stand back 2-4 feet when taking the picture. Hoods, Doors, Front fenders (around the front tires), Rear Quarter Panels (by the gas cap, near the trunk and back window).

We need to see the complete panel and some cases a pictures of the entire side of the car is needed depending on repair needed. Sometimes we have to complete color blending into other panels. Also these pictures will assist in analyzing a cost effective way to complete the repair

Chip & Scratches

Chip and Scratch repair means that the surface will need to be sanded down and repainted again. With panels this will mean repainting the entire panel in most cases but not all. It depends on the design of the panel.

Touch up in not a repair simply covering over the damage with the car color. Most colors especially metallics are meant to be sprayed. Touch up can draw more attention the the damage and some cases look worse even when done by a professional.
